This afternoon, my study session with Dude was interrupted by a couple loud thumps on my front porch. My house shook with the thumps. When I went out to find out the cause, I found a small white box that the mailman apparently “dropped”. (Cranky, maybe?)
Once inside, I opened the box (photo withheld to keep address private), and this is what I found:
Did you get a close enough look at the cheese? Well, look again:
Thank you, AKPonyGirl, this is one of the most touching gifts I’ve ever received. We will think of you with every bite!

Awwww!!! AK is Cheesy too!!!
(Now don’t be clobbering me you two!!)
How super is that already?? Too cool AK! YOU ROCK!!
It is just simply jaw-dropping AWESOME!
Wow! I wish I had all that cheese! I made my sister bring some down with her too. Tillamook, it’s what i was missing here in the land of cheese (WI) I am just used to how it taste and I miss it. I’m down to my last chunk of cheese. It makes me sad. Oh well.
It’s just the BEST cheese, isn’t it? I like it even better since I know how their cows are cared for and that it’s antibiotic and hormone free. And, it doesn’t separate like other cheese when it melts. But for me, it’s mostly because I know their cows are cared for in a way that agrees with me morally. And the grass they eat? OMG! My ponies would die for that rich, lush grass!
As long as they were tears of joy. I’m glad that I could do something for you that would brighten your day.
Let me know when you run out and I will send more.
Thank you, AK! Yes, they were tears of joy. You have no idea how wonderful this is! We’ll be enjoying cheese from you later on today when we trim the tree! Thanks again!
Enjoy your very thoughtful gifts! (Well, except for the Yummy Chummies. I’m sure the dogs will enjoy those.)
I’m sure the dogs will love them! I just hope Roxie recognizes them as food. She’s such a princess that she can’t figure out what to with a bone. Then again, if she doesn’t want her share, I’m sure the cats would love to split it.
