A thirty-something housewife happily married to my Corporate Prince.  My husband and I are owned by three kids, three dogs, seven cats and two horses.

While my interests tend to be eclectic, of late my reading has been pretty focused.  As a former dog trainer, I am highly interested in animal psychology and learning theory.  Yet, I need a break from shoving my head full of knowledge from time to time so I will read whatever may catch my fancy.  Sometimes it’s sci-fi and fantasy, sometimes Young Adult.  Other times it will be a romance novel.  I’ve heard my choice in leisure reading described as either “pop rocks” or “fluff”.  Leisure reading should be just that, leisurely!

Some of my favorite authors include Robin Hobb, Anne Bishop, Patricia McConnell, Temple Grandin, Pamela Dennison, Robert Vavra, Walter Farley, Madeline L’Engle, Silver Ravenwolf and Shakespeare just to name a few.

Music…  I love music!  Life would suck without it.  I listen to a wide range from Rob Zombie to Willie Nelson.  Sprinkle in some Nickelback, Nickel Creek, Allison Krauss, U2, Shakira, Gary Allen, Windham Hill and Franz Schubert and you’ve pretty much got me pegged.  I’ll pass on most of the rap and hip-hop.  Thanks!

I’ve lived on the West Coast my whole life, from Anchorage to San Diego.  I preferred Anchorage to San Diego.  But then again, I loved the wilds of Alaska!  I currently reside in the Willamette Valley region of Oregon.
