As Christmas fast approaches, I thought I’d take a minute to share some of my favorite things. After all, you never know if CP or someone else may need a hint or if some poor soul needs an idea for his or her girl!
Philosophy’s Falling In Love bath and shower gel- It smells like blackberries and sunshine! It also saves me a product as this is a shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath all in one! Leaves my skin and hair feeling soft and moisturized, but not greasy. I’d happily try other scents and products as well!
Raven’s Brew Coffee– My favorite is Wicked Wolf blend. I miss having this coffee something awful but just haven’t bothered ordering it in several months. I discovered this gem of a bean when I lived in Alaska and was ever so excited when I found they had opened up a roasting facility in Olympia, WA when I moved down to the lower 48. Smooth, rich and delightful. It’s the best way to start off your day! I haven’t found a blend of theirs I didn’t like, yet. But I’ve only tried a handful of them. Very worth the cost with shipping and they have some great merchandise!
Ariat boots– I have a pair of paddock boots that are 10 years old. They’re just the most comfortable boot I’ve ever had on my foot. I’d love to try a pair of fat baby’s and eventually replace my paddock boots with a new pair. (hint, hint! I wear a 9.5) I love my ropers, but something with a shorter shaft for easy on and off like paddock boots or fat baby’s would be great too.
Troxel helmets– I have had troxels for years. Never had a complaint about them and am glad they’re finally getting more streamlined and less bulky, bubble-headed looking. There is such a big variety of color choices and styles too! I love the Cheyenne and love all 3 color choices for it!
Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee maker- This has been on my wish list ever since I heard of it. I love the idea of having your grinder attached to your pot. Cuts down on the mess, cuts down on the air getting to your beans, grinds what you need and no more or no less and simplifies coffee making when you’re still bleary-eyed and stumbling around in the morning. All of the models are great and range in price. And I’d be happy with any of them, but the stainless carafe is probably the way I’d prefer to go as it would keep my coffee warm and fresh longer than a glass carafe.
Wild Horse Merlot- I haven’t tried any of their other wines yet. They’re not so easy to find here locally. I originally tried this merlot in Alaska when I couldn’t find any Clos du Bois merlot in stock. It’s nice, smooth and full bodied. A good choice for that wine drinker on your list.
Food Network cookware– This has been on our “someday” list since we discovered it in early spring. Both CP and I cook. We love the feel and balance of this cookware. The handles even have a groove the side of your thumb fits in when you’re pouring out the pan.
Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark– It’s the one time of year it’s available and I can’t ever seem to get enough of it! They’ve released a limited edition dark chocolate version this holiday season.
Healing Garden’s White Tea Therapy bath products- The scent relaxes me. What more can I say?
These are just a few of my favorite things! What are yours?
