LOL!!!! I think that you just made my day!!! Muscat and Riesling??? Perfect! I love sweet white wine. Ever tried Gewurtzaminer?? (I probably spelled that wrong!)
Okay Stephanie…we’ll share with you too!!! 🙂
My fav Gewurzaminer (and I know it’s spelled wrong!) is by Naked from Snoqualmie. It’s organic and oh-so scrumptious!
From the top we have:
A homemade Kaluhua (sp?), which we won’t drink because it’s sentimental to CP since his friends made it when they got married a couple years ago. Might not be any good anymore either.
A Moselland ARS Vitis Riesling (from Germany)
A Gascon Malbec
A Naked Chardonnay
A Wild Horse Merlot- which I think is the best Merlot!
You crazy booze hounds!!! I dont drink but I am a good cook! I’ll bring food!! Can I come along? LOL Melanie needs some TLC!
OS- I am sorry that I didnt answer your question earlier (that you put in comments a few days ago.) I actually wrote a reply in my last post but it got to long so I cut it out and am going to post it tonight. It is about fear undersaddle. I hope it might offer you some ideas! Thanks for reading my Ten Steps…good to know it was making a little sense to someone!
Yay! I just figured that we’d make CP cook, but if you’d rather bring food…
I seem to be my own worst critic. It doesn’t seem to sink into my head that I’ve only rode twice in the last 14 years and that both of those times were in the last 6 months! I appreciate your Ten Steps and look forward to your next segment under saddle.
Have you tried 14 Hands?!? Their Merlot and Cab is wonderful!
I will have to try it! Thanks!
It is soooo nice.
In September our club hosts the Fall Wine Festival Show. It was where last years pigeon on the rump incident took place.
During the futurities we have multiple wineries come in and have a wine tasting! Its SO fun. Also you can buy direct from the wineries right there. You guys would love it.
Ooh! That sounds awesome too! We will have to see if it fits in with Cozumel. I sure hope!
K – there is the fall Salem show. Sometimes I can afford to go sometimes I can’t. I will try to keep you mind while spending money this summer, maybe I will be able to go.
And if I go to the Emerald show in Monroe – send your friend over. I know the hill your talking about. I do actually love it there I just hate how the fairgrounds has jacked the price on that show! It used to be so affordable. Like in 4 years the stalls went from $90 to $200 each – I know that the fairgrounds doesn’t charge that but the show has had to raise their prices in response to the fairgrounds doing the same. Sad. Cause it is beautiful there – I have great memories over there.
First big show, first big win, first time feeling like I was part of a barn, first weekend spent with my new dog, LOTS of good memories.
Well, if you go, I’ll really try to come up and see you. Besides, I know where you can get a hot shower and a few minutes of down time!
