They really do bring personification upon themselves. I like how her collar coordinates with her blankie. Thanks! Roxanne is really, truly a spoiled Princess. I just had a piece of fleece laying around and was debating if I could make her “jammies” out of it.
My pug prefers to be under covers too, which baffles me since she doesn’t seem to like the heat otherwise at all. She’ll stay there as long as she can take it, and then crawl out from under the covers panting and gasping (pugs truly can make some awful noises) in defeat.
Roxie can’t figure out how to get under the covers or I’m sure she’d want to sleep there too. She gets in bed with me after BP gets up in the morning and pouts all day if I get up first and she doesn’t get her “cuddles”. I also have to carry the celestial blanket she’s laying on in the pics around from room to room or she can’t figure out where to park herself throughout the day.
Isn’t that why we have pets? So we can spoil them? Hey, good post about doing the right thing when you no longer can keep a pet. I get so sick and tired of the reasons why people drop off pets that they have had for years and have no thought of the terror that the animal is going through being dumped at the pound.
That comment left here on my blog that set me off, really bit my butt, ya know? I have contingency plans for ALL my critters.
Roxanne is so spoiled that she will wake BP up in the middle of the night and he will let her get into bed with us if she feels cold to him. It’s much easier, and leaves more room for me, if I just cover her up and then again in the middle of the night when she gets up. Two adults and a Dane don’t fit well in a queen bed.
